Clear, practical terms for private Beijing tours, customized itineraries, and trade show support.
These Terms & Conditions apply to Beijing Local Guide and this website, beijing-localguide.com. They are intended to make planning clear before a service is confirmed.
Service scope
Beijing Local Guide may provide private Beijing tours, half-day and full-day tours, multi-day and layover tours, customized itineraries, local transportation coordination where included, and trade show or business support. The exact services included depend on the relevant tour page and the written booking confirmation.
Booking confirmation
Submitting a Contact form or Customize Your Tour request is an inquiry, not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only after the itinerary or service details and pricing are agreed, any required payment or deposit arrangements are communicated, and confirmation is provided in writing. Writing may include email or WhatsApp.
Prices and group size
For 1 to 9 guests, tour pricing follows the current tour price table and per-person logic shown on the relevant tour page. For 10 or more guests, the group price and arrangements are confirmed separately because vehicle, tickets, guide arrangements, and itinerary needs can vary. A displayed 10+ per-person guide price, where available, is not a complete group total.
Payment
Accepted payment methods, payment timing, and any deposit requirement are communicated before booking confirmation. Any balance due is explained in that confirmation. Please verify payment instructions received from Beijing Local Guide before sending payment.
Tickets and third-party costs
Attraction tickets, transportation, meals, performances, cable cars, chairlifts, toboggan tickets, and other third-party services may be included or excluded depending on the tour. The relevant tour page and written confirmation control. Prices and availability can change, and some third-party costs may become non-refundable once purchased.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation conditions are explained or confirmed before a booking is finalized. Refund eligibility depends on the confirmed booking and actual circumstances. Costs already paid to non-refundable third parties, such as tickets, transportation reservations, or event tickets, may not be refundable. Where reasonably possible, Beijing Local Guide will try to minimize avoidable loss.
Changes and rescheduling
You may request changes to dates or an itinerary. Reasonable efforts will be made to help, subject to guide and vehicle availability, reservation rules, ticket availability, and other booked services. Additional costs caused by a requested change will be communicated before proceeding where practical, and already purchased non-refundable items may not be recoverable.
Late arrival and no-show
Please be ready at the agreed meeting time. A late arrival may reduce available touring time, while the original finish time may still apply because of later commitments or operational limits. Extra time is not automatic; if it can be arranged, any additional cost must be agreed. A no-show may result in the loss of prepaid or non-refundable costs.
Weather, closures, and circumstances beyond our control
Severe weather, attraction closures, government restrictions, traffic controls, security measures, public events, reservation limits, and transportation disruption can affect a plan. The itinerary order may change and a substitute attraction or adjusted plan may be proposed. Safety and legal requirements take priority. These circumstances do not automatically make every third-party cost refundable.
Passport information and attraction reservations
Some Beijing attractions require advance real-name reservations. If needed for a confirmed reservation, please provide accurate passport information that matches your travel document; incorrect details can cause booking or entry problems. Do not send passport scans, bank-card details, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive documents through the normal Contact or Customize Your Tour forms. Beijing Local Guide will request only necessary reservation information through an appropriate communication channel.
Children
Children are welcome unless a particular activity has its own restriction. Child ticket rules vary by venue, age, height, and current local policy, so final child ticket and service pricing is confirmed for the specific booking. Parents or guardians remain responsible for supervising children.
Pickup and drop-off
Pickup and drop-off availability depends on the selected tour or written confirmation. When hotel pickup is included, it normally means the agreed Beijing accommodation or location. Airports, railway stations, distant hotels, and places outside the normal service area may require separate confirmation or additional transport arrangements.
Additional time and extra services
Extra touring time, additional stops, transport, or services outside the confirmed itinerary are subject to availability. Any additional cost will be communicated before proceeding where practical. Overtime is not included unless it is stated in the booking confirmation.
Trade show and business support
Trade show and business support is a practical service arrangement. The confirmed assignment should cover schedules, venue access, interpretation or support scope, transportation, and any additional requirements. It is not legal, financial, or other professional consulting.
Customer responsibilities
Please provide accurate contact and booking information, give correct passport details when required for a confirmed attraction reservation, follow local laws and attraction rules, arrive at agreed meeting locations on time, and tell Beijing Local Guide about mobility, accessibility, or important scheduling needs in advance. Review the confirmed itinerary and inclusions before the service date.
